Travel Link Marketing Japan has been appointed PR representative by Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC). The main aim will be to promote the Maldives as a preferred island destination in Japan, and establish better outreach to the media and travel trade with the latest destination news and up-to-date travel guidelines.
MMPRC is the first account for Travel Link Japan and Harue Nakagawa, the account manager, plans to focus on PR activities and establishing strong relationships with the travel trade and media companies. Japanese travel trade and media have welcomed the opening of the new MMPRC office and both are eager to increase the number of Japanese arrivals to the Maldives, as soon as they can start travelling freely again.
To encourage travellers from Japan to keep dreaming about the Maldives, a series of marketing activities have been initiated including JATA Online Travel Mart 2020 and a JATA destination webinar series. Many more inspiring campaigns are planned throughout 2021.
