Real Madrid’s star goal keeper, Keylor Navas and the beautiful country of Costa Rica, feature in a new campaign from the Costa Rican Tourism Institute (ICT) to publicise the attractions of their country.
Under the title “The Happiest Goalkeeper in the World”, Navas promotes his country of birth in a campaign to encourage Spaniards to learn about Costa Rica through a video that combines sporting values with the beauty and experiences the destination has to offer.
The promotion also aims to spread happiness to followers and with Keylor as the spearhead, the search is on for the “happiest fan” to invite him on a trip to Costa Rica, one of the happiest and healthiest countries in the world according to many studies.
The campaign can be followed through www.elporteromasfelizdelmundo.com
For the campaign launch, the message is that according to different studies*, Costa Rica is one of the happiest and healthiest countries in the world. These values are reflected in the figure of Keylor Navas and based on this premise, a microsite has been created, www.elporteromasfelizdelmundo.com, in which Keylor provides interesting information on Costa Rica. The country is home to 5% of the planet’s biodiversity and offers genuine and high quality sport, adventure, traditions, wellness, luxury and comfort as well as flora and fauna year round. Alongside this, the goalkeeper is looking for an amateur to crown the “happiest fan”. All Spanish citizens resident in Spain who choose to travel to Costa Rica for an unforgettable experience can participate.
